Match Report 13/10/12 BAC 1 – 1 Jaspers

BAC had a good warm up but you could feel the tension in the air! They had the youth policy on the bench i.e. Bish! Cher was looking forward to catching up with some old friends (don’t tell Sal).

BAC2 v Old Bristolians3 ~ 06/10/12

A sluggish start from BAC2 meant we were 0-3 down after 20 minutes.  We warmed up eventually and started to put a few in the back of their net, but they also continued to put some past us.  Overall result, we lost 6-3, here are some photos from the match.

Match Report 06/10/12 Westberries 2 – 4 BAC

It was a beautiful sunny autumn day but unfortunately in the first half BAC were anything ‘but’ and we found ourselves 1 – 0 down. Enough said!

After a tough half time team talk the game restarted and it was like chalk and cheese – a completely different BAC side came out for the second half. Seconds from the restart saw us awarded with a penalty corner through some positive attacking play. A strike from Liz found Lor in a perfect position to slot home the equaliser. No sooner had the umpire blown the whistle for the restart BAC had taken the lead by a neat reverse stick shot by Lisa (Doug’s training paying off!!).

Match Report 29/09/12 BAC 2 – 2 Bristol University 2

BAC started the game in good spirits and top of the table (1st league game/alphabet!). Lisa was relieved her skirt finally fitted just in time for the start of the season but Hammy forgot to bring any cycling shorts – we hope it hasn’t put Becky off!

With the opposition (Bristol University 2) having made rather derogatory comments in last year’s match summary about playing the oldies, BAC were determined to prove a point, although with the return of Hammy to replace Katie we hadn’t done much to address the age balance.
