Match Report ~ Redland UWE3 3 vs BAC2 4

First match of the new year and BAC2 were away to Redland UWE.  Most of the team were moaning of Christmas excess but we were only sporting 1.5 hangovers, (the 0.5 comes from there being much debate as to whether one of our players was still drunk and therefore not hungover).

Match Report ~ Old Bristolians 5 vs BAC2 2

This match was the rescheduled game previously cancelled due to a frozen pitch.  The players gathered in Failand for a mid afternoon start and it was already starting to get dark.

Pre-match preparation involved circling the area repeatedly looking for a parking spot, dressing up in winter hiking gear to make the long journey cross country to get to the pitch and finally organising search parties and sending out scouts to look for our umpire.

Match Report ~ Bristol Uni 4 – 2 BAC 12/01/13

mini

The playing of this match was in doubt as the Uni wished to rearrange as they only had 4 players. Miraculously overnight they managed to magic up 7 more, so to a very cold and windy Coombe Dingle it was. The warm up run took a detour past Tinny and Sally’s very flash new Mini Cooper then it was on with the game.

Match Report ~ BAC 3 – 4 Yate2 05/01/13

After all the fun and festivities of the Xmas and New Year period, BAC headed straight into a re-arranged league match against Yate 2 this week.

BAC started the game well with some early pressure and a number of short corners but unfortunately this didn’t result in any goals. With BAC playing high up the field, a break from Yate saw them win a short corner and a goal, 0-1. BAC pressure continued and despite a number of opportunities, BAC were caught on the break and a very quick Yate broke away and scored another, 0-2.
