We are a friendly club in Bristol keen to welcome new players of all abilities. We field two teams and we play in winter and summer leagues.

We value to the social side of our club as much as the hockey and try to arrange regular social events from beer festivals, wine tasting, and fancy dress nights out.

BAC 6 – Leominster 3 (26/10/13)

This week’s game was against Lisa’s pals from Leominster and, after a long discussion about whether to shelter from the storm in a hottub whilst drinking wine (yes, that was the best plan we came up with), BAC were fired up ready to go for the three points.

The weather was glum and dull, but could the same be said for the BAC spirit? Hell no! It was our first away match of the new season and we arrived at Hanham to face Jaspers. 45 minutes before push back Jaspers were warming up and we were in the changing room discussing Alan Carr and the possible miracle of Liz attending training!

The day started with a slow constant drizzle, which was more like the hockey days of old… Today’s match was against Blockley, who BAC had not encountered before, so spirits were high with the prospect of playing a new team.
