BAC 4 – Bristol Uni 2

Written By – Tinny Oliver

It was a grey and wet morning – much to the disapproval of Kingers.  Bristol Uni were all quickly being dropped off by friends and parents and BAC assembled the full squad, back together.  After some stretching, rolling and a chat we raced the Uni to the pitch and the warm up started.  One team in fabulous matching kit and one in a mix match, including denim jackets, the youth of today!

Leominster 4 – BAC 4

Match Sponsor: BAFTA

An early start for the mighty BAC this week. The fun buses left Bristol at some ungodly hour and embarked on our trip to Leominster. Liz wanting to share the love had bits of her kit in 3 of the 4 cars. We were travelling without our keeper Becky this week due to illness (get week soon Becky), but WP raised her arm and stepped up to stand in-between the posts this week (Thanks WP!).

Warm up done, whistle blown…..we were off….

BAC 8 – WSM 3

The mighty BAC had their 1st game of 2018 and it was a freezing start to the season!

Would the game go ahead? Lisa B did a early pitch inspection, took some lovely photos but “needed to track down the man to get on”

We all knew what she meant!!!

BAC 2 – Royal Wootton Bassett 5

Written By: Browner

This week BAC 1s played Wootton Bassett at home in the last league match before the Christmas break.  We had a unpredictable start with Doug getting stuck in traffic meaning that we had to ask to delay the game by 15 mins (thanks WB).  After our 15 mins grace and with no sign of Doug, our umpire-supremo Sally volunteered as tribute to don the whistle and umpire the game until Doug arrived.  Sal’s moment in the spot-light lasted FOUR MINUTES, and they were our greatest 4 minutes… seriously.  BAC showed some great linked play in those first 4 minutes, I’m told the entire team set up our first goal – Dave to Maz, to Cheryl, to Liz, to Sledger, to Tinny and then finished at the left post by Brownie.  1-0.
