After last week’s euphoric home win, BAC made the short trip down the road to UWE, where Redland awaited. Both teams had one clear mission – to get 3 points on the league table. A win for BAC would give them a nice cushion between them and the bottom of the table, while Redland were searching for their first 3 points of the season.

BAC triumph in seven goal thriller

A determined and motivated BAC pitched up at Abbeywood on Saturday morning, ready to put our last couple of weeks of “we did well, we deserved better” and “the scoreline didn’t reflect the game”s to bed.

It was the start of the league this week and a big moment for BAC as they were back in the Prem division after a good 20-year absence. Well, let’s see how it goes…
Yate 2 v BAC (30/03/19) Won 4-2
BAC were at home for the last game of the season, it was a must win game if we were to finish the league in second place!
We started the game with a lot of pressure and forcing a full press on the Yate ladies getting a few chances on goal and winning a number of penalty corners. Red went down after getting hit in the throat by the defender’s stick (she can no longer sing Simply Red with Cheryl but the Bee Gees with Bish)
